Sorry for my late statement. I was preparing for my advancement test to be TICA Approved AB judge. Also, I had judging assignments most of weekends in Japan.

My name is Ryoko Doi. I first met Maine Coons in November, 1993. I was fascinated by their look and the size. I acquired 2 females in Feb. 1994, and in September of the same year, I bought my first male. I started to breed in 1995.

In 1996, I went to the US to see Maine Coons at the time. Between 1996 and 2000, I went to the US shows quite often, and I bought 8 Maine Coons from the US. (In 2000, Japanese Quarantine Process had changed)

I established Shonan Cat Club (TICA approved club) in October, 2000, and we held our first show in May 2001. Since then, we have held 15 TICA shows in Japan.

I started my judging program in 2001, and became TICA Speciality Judge in 2002. At the next semi-annual, if approved, I would be TICA Approved AB judge.

I have produced 2 International Winners, and every year, I produced RWs in Japan.

I live with my husband, and 15 Maine Coons (5 of them are neutered). I am not good with English, but with the help of translator, I would try to do my best for this job.
