We
are Kevin and Cindy King and we live happily in Doncaster with our three
beautiful children, our Maine Coons and our Great Dane Sky. As for
our dogs we like our cats large and full of purrsonality so the Maine Coon
really was the breed for us. We purchased our first breeding Queen
in 2003, unfortunately she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 7 months
old. She was immediately neutered and remains with us as a happy pet. Our
experience with Molli was a hard learning curve and taught us much about
the importance of line chasing and health in the Maine Coon. The Maine
Coon is a hardy breed of cat, but like all breeds one needs to be very
careful with pedigrees and history.
Our cattery name, HANDAROS is an amalgamation of our
four children's names and was registered with the GCCF in 2003 and later
with TICA. Cindy is the UK TICA Junior Achiever Liasion and also
served as Secretary for the only Maine Coon TICA afliated club, CoonTICA
in its inception year.
